Ask the Experts: The Truth About Social Media And Relationships

I have to admit to being a latecomer to the social media party.  That said it’s pretty amazing I turned up at all.  For years I remained adamant, while ranting about the evils of social networking, that I would not be enticed by the modern social media forces.

But like so many others, I eventually I saw the potential of Twitter and succumbed.  Then it was LinkedIn.  Finally, a few months back, I did what I promised myself I’d never do: I created a Facebook page.  In fact, I didn’t just create one account, oh no I excelled myself, I created two.

So I signed up with trepidation, imagining that life as I knew it would now be over, having joined the ranks of 800 million Facebook users worldwide.
